Investing in Our Future!

KDCDC is an incorporated not-for-profit organization. Our volunteer Board of Directors consists of community minded individuals who represent the communities within our area. They are committed stakeholders in their communities who enjoy the quality of life here and want to contribute to the economic and social health of our area. Decisions on loan investments and community projects are made locally.

Our office, a Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC), receives the majority of its revenues from contributions provided by the federal government from Industry Canada through FedNor.

Our office works with area residents and communities to:

• Encourage and support small business.
• Encourage involvement, forward looking vision and positive outlook.
• Plan and facilitate action regarding changes, which will affect the region.
